Before the technology of our age, parents and children gathered outside department stores, their noses pressed against display windows, eyes wide in wonder. Passers-by were fascinated by the magical automations housed inside.

At Automates Avenue, visitors can travel through time and space, dream with these fabulous window-actors and see the fairyland of past times come back to life.

AN ANIMATED MUSEUM

 The Museum retraces the history of the famously animated Parisian Department store window scenes that were popular between 1920 and 1960. The Museum features 10 large animated and original window scenes, reviving the streets of Paris for 300 automations to come alive, as they once did, in an extraordinary setting.

  • Closed from the 16th of January to the 4th of February.
