Gateway to the Suisse Normande

Located at the confluence of the Orne and the Noireau rivers, 19 km west of Falaise, Pont d’Ouilly enjoys an exceptional setting. There were originally two villages, St Mards and St Christophe, on each side of the river, today joined by their famous bridge over the Orne.
 

The Suisse Normande, the mountains of Normandy

The Calvados Region peaks here. Rocky cliffs, gorges, sheer rocks walls and embanked rivers create the alpine aspect of this Region. This wild place can be discovered by the ramblings trails, but also by a Road, La Route de la Suisse Normande , which will lead you over more than 65 kilometers to the most beautiful sites and viewpoints in the Suisse Normande.
